Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Design, build and optimize data pipelines and data platforms to support analytics, reporting and business insights
• Develop scalable data solutions using SQL, Python and modern cloud technologies
• Implement and maintain data warehouse structures and data models to ensure reliability, performance and accessibility
• Work with Azure Data Lake and Azure Data Factory to orchestrate, transform and integrate data from various sources
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate them into robust technical solutions
• Ensure high data quality by applying best practices within validation, monitoring and governance processes
• Contribute to continuous improvements in data engineering workflows, architecture and automation

What you bring:

• Strong cloud expertise with hands-on experience in data engineering environments
• Solid skills in SQL and Python for data processing and transformation
• Proven experience in data warehouse development and modern data architecture
• Practical experience with Azure Data Lake and Azure Data Factory
• Knowledge of Snowflake and experience working in SAFe environments
• Background from insurance, banking or other financial sectors is highly meritorious
• A pragmatic, structured and stress-resistant way of working, even in complex situations
• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate in environments where creativity, ownership and problem-solving are central
• Fluent in English and Swedish.
